Monster at the Door - Methow Valley Headwaters

Global warming, pollution, dwindling steelhead numbers, invasive species, and development.  There are plenty of threats to our clean northwest waters without adding one of the biggest threats of all - mining.

The Bureau of Land Management is considering allowing industrial mining in the mountains of the Methow Valley Headwaters.  K&E learned about this recently and after our collective blood pressures settled down enough to type....we went to work.  We have signed the petition put together by the Methow Headwaters Organiztion and encourage anyone who cares about the preservation of clean water and preserving a natural resource rather than exploiting it for corporate gain to do the same.  Visit: Methow Headwaters to take action NOW.

We think this is important enough to add a "Pretty Please"!
